I am so impressed with this watch that I had to chime in. The watch is very cheap in price but not cheap in quality.
Remember, it is not a Rolex.
I am a Remodeler and have no need for a fancy watch as I am rough on them. My perfect watch is analog with a thin face and a medium size dial so as to not get hung on anything. It has a very visable dial face, and durable plastic wrist band that is easily cleaned. It must also be water resistant.
I've worn many different watches to work in the past years and I rank this one as the best. Usually, I'm willing to spend up to $50.00 for something that might fit the need and might last a couple of years.
When I finally found this one I was somewhat sceptical about it's durability so I bought 3 to lower my average cost and get free shipping. That was 1 1/2 years ago and I am still using the first watch I put on. It pretty much lives on my wrist through all activities including work, showers, waterskiing, etc. Great watch for 3 times the money! I'm thinking of buying 3 more for extra back-ups, which at this rate would last me for at least another 10 years!
The Casio Men's Analog Watch(#MQ24-7B2) is a good and inexpensive watch. I have used these watches for over 15 years. Sometimes, I replace the battery once every two years, sometimes I just buy a new one. This watch is reliable and waterproof. The battery usually lasts about two years of constant running, the face is easy to read, even in dim light, the design is clean and attractive and it keeps perfect time. I would recommend this watch to anyone.
Yes, it looks cheap, and yeas the face is slightly smaller than the normal "bulky watch" these days. Honestly though if you're spending this little on a watch you can't be that fashion conscious. This is a great watch for me because I don't mind looking broke (muggers love guys who show off through their watch). It's easy to read, functional and comfortable The strap does not pull on arm hairs which has been a frequent problem for me in the past. I've taken this in and out of water and through the rain forest, and in below freezing temps, no complaints so far.

As they say, you get what you pay for. I bought this watch about a year ago for around $12 including tax. The main reason I bought it was because it is very comfortable. I have hairy arms, and I need a watch that won't catch the hairs, and of the many watches I tried on for fit, this one was the least intrusive. The analog display is easy to read and easy to set. I have only two complaints about this watch: 1) There is no illumination glow at all, making it useless in the dark (what does it cost to add a simple glowing stripe? jeez!) 2) It loses its ability to resist water very slowly. What started out as fogged lens after a few months turned into full-blown water leakage. After taking a hot shower this watch recently died. Which is unfortunate because I just replaced the battery at $7 each! So my advice is, if you want a cheap disposable watch with no frills, this is a good choice. Otherwise, spend an extra $10 or $15 dollars and get a better one.
I selected this watch since it looks pretty simple but elegant, and it is significantly cheap. This watch is considerably thin; its watchband is not made of leather, but of plastic (it may bother you after a while). The size of the watch itself is fine for me, but when I first saw it, it seemed smaller than what I expected. Its black color and finish make it look elegant and suitable to wear with anything in any setting. Also, it is water-resistant, although I did not test mine. The watchband is long enough to fit on my wrist, but I would have liked a longer one; then, in case you need a very long watchband, think twice before buying this watch.
All in all, a simple, but nice watch; very recommended.
The photo of this watch doesn't do it justice. It is awesome, a Japanese movement, and cased in China (think iPods, Nike, and other quality products). This watch features a glass face, and rubber band, and it's thin, light and comfortable.
I have another Casio which is a digital solar powered watch, but I prefer analog, and my digital is bulky, so I thought I'd grab one of these, and I am extremely pleased. I feel like stocking up on these beauties for backups and presents... and I just might. This watch is worth $20 bucks at least, so this is an amazing price, it's like buying a Ferrari at the price of a Ford. *Strongly Recommended* :)
It's ridiculous. This watch costs like 9 dollars, right? And it goes with everything. Board shorts or tuxedos, it always looks good. And people let you know too. Great watch.
This watch is just what it apears to be - a no frills time keeper and that's just what I was looking for.
This is the third or fourth time I have purchased this model of watch. It is a very nice basic watch that is extremely easy to read and inexpensive. The one negative is the plastic watch band which usually break after about a year. A replacement band costs almost as much as the watch.
