this is an objective review of the product i recently purchased,the casio analog watch looked great i would really love to wear one unfortunately its not working so i returned it and was replaced amazingly fast by amazon but the replacement is still not working so amazon refunded my money but i have to remind them via email before amazon actually refunded them.so better pass on this watch and always check your bank balance to make sure your money is refunded.hope this review will help others.thanks.


I hope they never stop making this style. I've easily bought six or more of these watches over the past 15 years. You can replace the battery if you want but if you're active the wristband might wear out first. Great timeless styling, looks good with everything. If you lose it, it's obviously no big deal. You can't go wrong with this one.


My father wore a very similar watch for as long as I can remember. It was not this cheap model, because he had the battery replaced on that quite often and it kept working, and I understand from reviewers that this might not.

But at a price cheaper than a battery change for my father's watch, this is a truly excellent watch. It has understated refinement and elegance; it is waterproof and reliable; the lightness and the plastic strap means you won't sweat and it won't irritate you, and no numbers means the watchmaker decided not to insult your intelligence.

Not for me a flashy, bukly Rolex or Omega; not for me any whacking big metal watch; not for me a digital watch; not for me a watch with a whacking great dial; not for me any fancy bells and whistles; not for me even digits.

No, this is a functional, simple, classic, well-proportioned, unostentatious and elegant watch. I love it.


I'm in college and I really needed a watch for time management. This second hand is great. I wear it with business attire and even when I workout. Plus it is waterproof so it will last longer especially when it rains.


Nice product, great price, keeps accurate time, and is thin compared to other Casio watches. It is extremely light too. It looks very elegant. However, the resin band looks terrible and belies the cheap nature of this watch.

For less money than getting the batteries replaced on one of the watches I already own, I was able to get this cheap watch that's attractive enough to wear around the office! I guess the only question now is how long it will last. We'll see!

This watch is surprisingly stylish. I have gotten many compliments about it; some even mistook it for a Swatch skin (it's not nearly as thin as a Swatch skin, but it's pretty thin nonetheless). Just the looks of this watch won me over.

Ok... it wasn't all about looks. How can you find a watch any cheaper than $7.00 of this quality? I've had a few Casio's in the past, and they are reliable watches. The gold-colored hands and dial-symbols with the black case and strap gives the watch a definite refined edge to it.

Did I mention it costs 7 bucks?

The only problem I've had with the watch so far is that it (rarely) gets caught on the hair on my wrist and pulls on it a little. It makes for a sudden surprise, but nothing that would stop me from wearing it.

I don't usually write reviews for products I buy, but this watch is so great I felt compelled to write one.

This is a very nice watch. It does its job and is easy to read (and cheap).

I was trying to decide between this model, the similar-looking Casio MQ24-1B (black), and the MQ24-7E (white, without numerals). I thought the other two might look a little bit nicer, but I eventually decided on this product, the MQ24-7B, because I thought it would probably be more readable than either of the others, and that is the most important thing.

Before this, I had almost always used a digital watch, but I'm quite happy with this one. I have to get used to remembering what day of the month it is instead of checking my watch, and I can't set alarms anymore, but that's not a big problem. If I hold it within about a foot of my ear, I can hear it softly ticking, but otherwise it seems to be silent.

Yes, the band will probably break long before the watch stops working.


This little watch does everything I would expect it to, and it looks pretty good to boot.


Bought it originally for some international travel where I didn't want to care what happened to my watch, but it's continued to be my day to day watch after the trip.

It just keeps running.


I had to return these watches because the info on this page was incorrect, the watch band is plastic but the back of the watch is metal.


Great watch for the money, bought it as a work watch, its so light and comfortable to wear its the only watch I ever wear now. Had it a year and no problems!


Thin, light weight, classic watch. Keeps great time, good for a couple years of daily use before the watch band breaks (the watch keeps going forever, though). Love it.

This is a great product. I was expecting it to look cheap (because it was) but I am really happy with the materials and quality. Super comfort fit. Will defenally recomend if you are looking for a cheap, reliable and durable watch.


Nice little watch but the glass is not mineral, it is poor quality plastic and scratches easily.


For the price this watch is hard to beat. I needed a watch to keep time while swimming and this watch does the job very nicely. It has only a few features but I need neither more nore less. It has a very clear dial and is waterproof to 100 m, i.e. good for swimming and some snorkling say those who are supposed to know. Other than that it has a 10 year battery and the resin makes is lightweight which is nice. I used to have a MW600-7BV with a white dial but lost it. I liked it very much and didn't find a better alternative so I got the MW600E-2AV as the white model was not available any more. The only negative I could say about this watch is that they've changed the design to have more shiny parts, e.g. the numbers and hour indicators and the blue colour dial has a satin finish. These two "enhancements" are not visible on the product photo and unfortunately makes it look cheap and toyish in my opinion. But as I said, for the price it's still a very good deal and I'm very happy with it. I got it from Chelsea Watch here at Amazon and it was delivered to Sweden within 10 days.


I've purchased this watch with the solemn purpose - to check the time during the morning exercises. It proved to be relatively water-resistant, and accurate which in conjunction with attractive design turned out to be very well worth the money I paid for it.


This is a wonderful watch, I'd give it a 5 but I'm not sure how it'll hold up(Sometimes you can never tell) I was looking for a watch with the durability and simplistic look of a sports watch, but without the mess. This watch simply looks great, the hands glow in the dark, and the resin feels great. The 10-year battery life is great as well, I do wish there were more notches in the band, as I find myself a little bit between too loose and too tight; but the blue dial is very appealing with the black leather-look of the plastic band.

Setting the watch is easy enough, the numbers on the outside, placed at five minute intervals, are welcome, I'd like them to be glow in the dark though, the watch would benefit greatly from this feature, I wouldn't mind purchasing a higher quality look-alike of this watch with such a feature.

This looks great with my overall black/imitation-leather apparel, and I'm pleased with it, I'll be updating the review as time goes by to reflect how said time affects the watch.

This watch does all three - I've had no problems whatsoever with the build (the band scratches slightly over time but the watch face shows no signs of wear), the watch looks rather stunning (the four time markers on the watch make it look far more stylish and pricy than it is), and it has no trouble keeping perfect time, though only 4 time markers does make it difficult to read the precise time.

For anyone looking for a great watch - casual or business style - for themselves or as a gift, I highly recommend this one. It offers the style of a higher end dress-watch with one tenth of the price.

It is a good watch and definately worth the money they are selling it for. Don't expect it to match a $100 watch quality. Its dial seemed little smaller than what felt in the picture. It is good for medium man wrist but probably little small for big ones.

I've had this watch for about a month now and it looks, feels, and works great. Excellent price for such a nice watch. Would recommend.


I am pleased with my purchase - Metal band, easy to read dial, good build quality, and has not varied from the time that I first set it to agree with my atomic clock. The band is large enough to encircle the wrist of most big people. I have to wait a decade to determine if the claim of a 10 year battery life is true. A good value for those that only interested in reading the correct time.


(Note: This review is for the above watch's predecessor. I've owned the watch for 12 years and it still runs, so I thought I'd contribute my two cents based upon my experience.)

The watch I own is exactly the same as this one except its watchband links are slightly different and the date window is at 3 rather than 4. Other than that, it's the exact same watch. I bought it 12 years ago and it still runs perfectly (its accuracy is about -1 minute per month). I've dropped it multiple times, accidentally sent it through the washing machine several times, scraped it, knocked it around, etc. and it still looks good. The crystal is very scratch-resistant. The band is comfortable and the clasp still holds firmly. Considering I purchased it so long ago and it was probably on the store shelf a while, I'm amazed the battery hasn't died.

Although many would undoubtedly love this watch, I particularly recommend it for those who work with their hands such as landscapers, mechanics, plumbers, etc. It's handsome enough to look professional for clients and rugged enough to really take a beating. Also, it's thin enough that it lays on the wrist without getting in the way of what you're doing and it's not heavy.

If there's a better watch value out there, I'm not aware of it. Highly recommended.



Well i bought this watch for my boyfriend for an early Christmas present, so he really hasn't got to use it yet. I just coundn't pass it up because it was on sale and there was no shipping and handeling fees for that day only. My boyfriend is sure to love it because he's not really into all that high-tech stuff. So if you're looking for a simple, but expensive looking watch this is the watch for you!!!


I bought an identical watch several years ago. Its still keeps time. Its beginning to show some wear, but considering the amount of abuse over the years it doesn't look bad. All the watches I owned in the past were lucky to last 6 months. This watch does take a licking and keeps on ticking. In the first palce, I wanted a reliable watch like Casio, low priced, yet shows good taste, for my every day use. This watch is in fact far more than I expected, based on it low price tag. It is really v. well built with elegantly styled metal band and dark blue dial. It is designed in a classic way that would stay in style as long as its battery goes (10 Y).
I beleive this watch will stay with me for some time, till I just get sick of it, as it looks like it can really hold up for years of use.
I totally recommend this watch for anyone who wants somthing decent in value and looks for, a v.decent price.
