Such a cute watch. Looks tough, but the pink face adds just enough "girliness" to this watch. I would have given it the full five stars, but, would love it even more if the designers had done away with the kinda silly second ticking away dots on the left to make the time and date bigger. It is very comfortable to wear, I'm very glad I purchased it.


I bought this watch about 2 months ago and so far I love it! I needed a digital watch for work but could not find one that didnt look like a childs watch, until I found this one. I was worried that the colored face was going to look childish, but it is not a bright color at all, just a perfect hint of color. All of the features of this watch are great as well! The watch will automaticaly reset the time at day light savings time. There are great features, you will have to read about them all.
The ONLY complaint I have was trying to adjust the band and take the likns out to make it smaller, not something I could do myself. I had to take it to a jeweler, who thankfully didnt charge me (this time) for adjusting the band.
All in all, I really like it, its not to heavy and looks nice!

This watch looks so chic and expensive. The color is really great, after I even wanted to get one for myself.


My girlfriend needed a watch with numerous alarms that didn't have velcro on it. This was the one I chose and she loves it. Her wrist is tiny and once she removed links (about half) it fits great. The light works well (she loves the purple) and the alarms are all functional and very beneficial for those of you who are forgetful.

Esse modelo de Baby-G é o mais bonito que já encontrei. Possui o design característico dos modelos Baby-G, mas é mais feminino. Tem o tamanho perfeito, não é grosseiro e ainda tem o detalhe em rosa no visor. Não fica enorme no pulso, mesmo para quem tem o braço fino.
As horas ficam bem nítidas no visor. Possui 4 despertadores e mais um que é soneca, cronômetro normal e regressivo e também o horário de outro local do mundo.
O material da pulseira e da caixa são de qualidade e possui resistência para 100M de profundidade.
Ele é todo em metal e isso dá um detalhe casual para esse modelo, apesar do Baby-G ser um modelo esportivo da Casio. Dá para usar no dia-a-dia em qualquer ocasião.

É realmente o modelo mais bonito que já encontrei. Pena que nunca o encontrei no Brasil para a compra, somente no exterior.


I really like this watch. I was looking for something sporty that could also look nice! This watch fits the bill on both counts. I am outside a lot and I have four horses so the watch takes some hits. It still looks brand new and there is no scratches on it. I am also a single mom to a four month old and the watch is also no worse for the wear from the neverending supply of drool!! The stopwatch and timer are really nice and I do a lot of traveling and will be in Europe for five months this fall and winter so the twenty four hour time will come in handy to coordinate with the train schedules. The time zone feature is great. Overall I am happy with the watch and the look of the watch. The customer service was good...no problems. The only issue I have is with the clasp. A lot of the time something sticks in there and I have a hard time opening the clasp. Not sure what that is all about. That is not enough for me to be unhappy with the watch though...would reccomend this watch to a friend...for sure.


Looking at the picture I thought I would take a chance on this watch, but when I received it I realized it was not for me. I have small wrists and it looked very bulky also the numbers on the face are difficult to see. I ended up returning it!


Bought for my wife and she has worn it ever since. She absolutely loves it!!!


When I first saw this watch online, I liked the way it looked. It looks feminine and casual. The features are great, my husband is in the military so knowing the times from different countries is great, it has the option of military or standard time, it also has 4 different alarms, which with four boys and my husband, and I use 3 alarms. It has a backlight which looks lilac at night...I love that. The only thing about it was that I have skinny wrists and it was too big for me, but I was able to go to a jeweler and shorten it to my liking. Now, I always wear it. :)


I like most of the features of this watch, my main complaint is the buttons are hard to push and it gains time. I like my watch to have the exact time and after a few months it would be a minute ahead of my atomic clock. I had to stop wearing it because it is too heavy and it made my arthritis flare up, hopefully this is a problem most people don't have to worry about.
I love the back light is pink, it is pretty easy to change the time zones too.

I liked the features and functions of this item for the price tag on it. I was looking for a inexpensive stopwatch to begin with but as I started looking, it made more sense to invest in this item. I had a Casio watch before and definitely liked their quality.


I was impressed with the shipping. This watch is more masculine than I expected. However it is comfortable and ideal as a sport watch.


I was looking for a sports watch that could take a beating.
It has all the functions that I need while working out or going for a run or hike (exp: stopwatch, alarm etc.)

This Baby G was a Christmas present for my girlfriend. The watch is awesome and the smoked jelly case/band is very stylish. Previously I have purchased another with a clear case/band and this one is even nicer looking in person.

The watch itself has all the great functions that G's offer (stopwatch, alarms, multiple time zones, etc.) in a very sporty package that is great for casual and athletic wear. One neat little aspect of this model is whenever you push the "light" button to illuminate the watch face (and when the second counter hits 30 seconds) a little dolphin appears in the upper window and "swims" -- my girlfriend thinks this is very cute and it adds to the appeal of the concept of a fun Baby G.

My only nit pick is that the buckle is plastic and not stainless steel like all the other G-shocks/Baby Gs I have purchased in the past -- but this is minor (and the reason I gave it a 4 star rating instead of a 5 star rating).

The price and service from Amazon and the supplier were excellent! I literally received the package 3 days after I ordered it (during Christmas time).

My girlfriend and I are very happy with the product and service.

I love this watch this is the second one. The last one I bought 2 1/2 years ago and the battery started to go so I ordered a new one and so far so good. The only down side is that you really need to keep the instruction book.


...for those who already bought this watch.
Recently I ordered BG watch and I received the small version of Baby G, but I wanted the sports watch with a litter bigger screen.
Is this one "the large one" or a small one for little hands? :)
Can anybody measure the screen, because I dont want to order another exactly like the previous one.

I am from Slovenia and BG watches are here very expensive.

This is a great watch. I wear it or one of the other two that I own everyday for work and play. It keeps great time and after a lot of searching, I found the BEST price on Amazon. I paid easily half price for this watch that still appears on the G-Shock website at full price. I'll always look at Amazon first.


Love this watch. I'm an E.R. RN and this is my work watch. Wears well despite body fluid splashes, banging it on equipment, etc... My only grievances are: It won't tell me the day of the week and year for example: "Fri., Aug 1st, 2008". I work weird hours so sometimes I do forget what day of the week and year it is.... Anyway LOVE IT!! Will buy another one when this one craps out.


What can i say about this watch. I love Baby-G watches and when I could not find one in IL or in Vegas I went online. It looks good on my arm and it works like I want it to. I mean, it's a watch. What can I say about a watch. It tells time fantasmagorically. I NEVER take it off. I love it and will continue to by Baby-G and only Baby-G.


I used to love G shocks so I bought this for my daughter about 7 months ago.

Since then I had to remove the 4 screws that keep the plastic cover held down, (the ring-like cover that goes around and protects the side of the face - it's not integral) to clean under it. I just did this a second time since she has got it, and decided to warn others.

It gets really disgusting and discolored from soap and dirt that gets stuck just under it. A good wash under water, is NOT enough to wash it away. It seems to be a design flaw and I am very disappointed.

Note: Its still a tough and waterproof watch, it just gets ugly after awhile.



This is a great looking watch. It goes well with my work attire. However, it isn't easy to program, set the time, etc. I know someone who actually returned it because it is so difficult to use. But, once you figure it out it is great!


Bought this watch for the girlfriend. She leads a very active lifestyle and this watch is perfect for her. It's lady-like, but super tough. And it tells time. Very little more you can ask for in a watch. Definitely recommend this watch. The one thing to keep in mind is that its a little on the large side, so if you want a dainty little watch, this is not it. Other than that, its fabulous.


Much better then I expected. The watch I recieved looks quite different from the watch shown. It has a clear face instead of a purple one, also like others said the color is much more sub-dued then in the picture.

This is my first day wearing it and so far so good, I was very glad to have an alarm that is loud enough to wake someone like myself up.

The watch is a bit bulky if you are not used to wearing sport watches, though I am already getting used to it and loving it.

Tough and rugged enough for any workout regimen or outdoors training, this shock-resistant casio Baby-G women's sport analog/digital watch (model BG1500A-1BV) is also very precise thanks to its atomic timekeeping features. It features a stylish black resin case and silver top ring, which frames a black dial face with three digital subdials (which display day, date, and the 1/100-second stopwatch). Other timing features include world time from 48 cities, 12/24-hour display, autocalendar (to the year 2099), and hourly time signal. This watch is water resistant to 100 meters (330 feet), suitable for recreational snorkeling. As a member of a trauma and code blue team, I find that the timekeeping abilities of this watch are priceless. Not only does it keep perfect time, but the readouts are extremely easy and convenient to read. It's a fairly big watch on my small arm, but that doesn't bother me at all. In fact, I get so many compliments on it everywhere I go, and several people I know have said they're going to get one, too. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is that there is a bit of steel on the back of it that digs into my skin, and I generally have a big red divet on my arm after wearing it for a 12-hour shift. Maybe I can find some felt or something to cover it with. At any rate, it's still a very cool watch, and I'm really glad to own it.

The only complaint I have about this watch is the instructions, and ease of use. The watch does come with clear instructions, however it doesn't state the small things, like the watch does not contain all hometowns and just major cities, so you keep looking for your city and it makes you think you are doing something wrong. The watch is very cute, and I love all the features it comes with. However, I haven't found the patience to play around with the watch, so basically I am waiting for my husband to. If it were a simple watch, maybe I would have found the time, but it's not. I bought my husband a g-shock which he has been wanting forever and I loved it, and seen all the features it came with, so naturally I wanted the woman's version. Once I find the time to play with it I am sure I will love more then just the look or the fact that it sets itself automatically. Many people have commented on how big this watch is so I thought I'd post a couple of photos showing the relative size on a small wrist. I'm of Asian descent so am fairly petite and was worried that this watch was going to be too big for me, however, I wanted something with all of these functions, specifically water resistance for outdoor activities, the atomic time keeping and world time as I travel overseas regularly and also need to know time for when I'm calling anyone abroad.

I admit that this watch is pretty big for my wrist as I wear it on the second to last notch, but I love it. It's very sporty as far as practicality and durability are concerned, but definitely not streamlined. Great for camping and the outdoors too.

I also like the clean, contemporary design. Great for wearing every day with casual attire. Overall, I'm really pleased with it.


I bought this watch because I wanted a sports watch that was different than the run-of-the-mill digital sports watch. The Baby-G atomic watch definitely fits that bill for me. While the watch itself is fairly large for a women's watch, I still like it very much. I love the atomic timekeeping feature, in addition to the analog face. All-in-all it's a great watch.


This watch has more cool stuff than I know what to do with. I love all of the features I know how to use so far but it is definitely a watch you have to read the manual for to understand it completely. The only thing that ticks me off about it is, as advanced as all if it's functions are...it has this stupid little orange light over the 6 which illuminates over the face rather than from the inside or behind the faces. This doesn't illuminate the smaller faces so well. I work at night so the light was important. Should have read more about the little light...


I purchased this watch as a gift for my Girlfriend. She just loves the style and performance so far. The watch is not small but certainly not as big as the men's style G watches,it works for her. Take the time to review the instructions for this watch, it isn't easy to set up without the book. Another great Casio product!


Love the watch. Received yesterday, skimmed through the instructions, set it for my time zone and watched the hands spin. It was an hour off, so I let it sit in the window overnight on its stand, and this morning it was perfectly timed. Before, I NEVER knew what day/date it was (I work at home) - so it's astonishing to look at your wrist for all the PRECISE information needed. Without glasses it's a bit of a stretch, but as I get used to the numbers, it'll get easier. BEAUTIFUL? Not exactly, but for dressy days I have other watches. For all casual wear it's very classy. A LITTLE LARGE? Yes, but how can they pack so much information in anything tinier?? Besides, it's not that much larger than my other big and beautiful timepieces. I had my eye on the Atomic/Solar, but it didn't seem to be as feature-packed. HAPPY??? Yes, I am, and thanks to Amazon, I got a great deal.
****EDITED version: All of the above is true, but I am allergic to the resin band when worn for longer than a couple of days straight! I have to take it off after a day - not exactly what I wished for. I am still looking for a fabric or other type of material to replace the band.*****


I just got this watch in the mail last week and I love it already. I read many reviews on Amazon and knew that it was a good watch but I was nervous b/c many people mentioned that it was rather large. I was pleasantly surprised. It is larger then your typical woman's watch but if you are going for that sporty look it's perfect. I love the way it looks and I love the features that it offers. I have only had it for a week now but so far I am very impressed with this watch and would highly recommend it.


I'm very picky about my watches- I like them big, but not the biggest (I'm a woman with tiny wrists), light- not heavy, matte black with silver. This one fit the bill perfectly. The problem I had with my old digital watch was not being able to see the time when out in the sun- not a problem with this analog watch. It gives me just the right amount of info. Seems to be keeping time very well despite being in the mountains and on my wrist 24-7 (I don't know how often it's able to check in atomically to adjust itself). The light is great, although I rarely need it b/c the hands glow very well. And best of all- it looks cool! I love this watch!
