Casio Auto Calendar Thermometer Travel Clock #PQ15-1KP

Customer Buzz
This CASIO alarm clock is very accurate, both watch and thermometer. I've replaced the alkaline batteries this week, that last 2 years !
the light is powerful enough to see the display and short enough to don't wake me up.
Easy to setup with a looooooooud alarm sound !
I have this product for about 8 years, no complains, no problems only satisfaction and reliability

My wife bought this for me for my birthday. Hey, she asked what I wanted. This replaced one I have been using for about 14 years an onknown brand. I like this, the alarm isn't too loud but loud enough. Very easy to set and read. We travel a lot so this will be going with us when we go. I gave it 5 stars because I can't find anything wrong with it. I'm happy with it. If you want a battery powered alam clock this is a good one. I don't like relying on powered alarm clocks since they get screwed up when the power goes off. So for me highly reccomended.

This is a small wonderful alarm clock. My wife and I needed separate clocks so I bought this Casio.I bought it because of the good reviews I read, and they were right. Easy to set, alarm is loud and easy to turn off. I love it

Customer Buzz
It is good quality ,durability but too large for me and expensive when compare with other brand.

I can't remember when I bought this little clock, but it had to be 15 or more years ago. I've carried it with me to many places from the winters of the Arctic to the sweltering and humid jungles of Indonesia. I lived for a time in the Philippines and China as well. It's batteries seem to last forever being used continuously since the day I bought it. The thermometer has been handy while traveling in the extremes as well. I'm a happy owner.

I like this clock a lot. It cost a little too much, I think, but alas.

However, my only real complaint is that the light on it isn't the Indiglo-style one. It's the dimmer one that lights up the corners. The time, date, day, temperature and all that are great, though. I like the snooze on this one more than most alarm clocks as it doesn't seem to mysteriously stop working after a while (it doesn't seem to give up on you that way). Setting this clock is really easy and nice compared with most, I think, as it uses a few extra buttons where other clocks wouldn't.

I have had this travel clock for eight years, and I have no complaints with it. I have traveled around the world with it and have relied on it in all temperatures and time zones. This Casio has worked well for me. My brother is getting ready to travel abroad for the first time, and I am buying him this clock to go with him.

Customer Buzz
Can't remember when I purchase my current Casio but know it's been at least 10 years and is the best travel clock I've owned. It's been stepped on, dropped from heights, thrown in the bottom of a packback as it journeys around the world, and, though the temperture sensor failed years ago, the clock and alarm just keeps on going. Rarely needs a battery change. I've tried others, and they have all failed miserably for one reason or another. And yes, the alarm is loud.

Casio makes a superb product for the money, and as I'm worried that they might stop making this travel clock, I'm purchasing another for the next decade.

Customer Buzz
I have had one of these for over a decade with zero problems. Then I bought another one when I needed a thermometer because the first one seemed accurate and was certainly reliable. I use the second to check the temperature in my refrigerators, sometimes leaving it in there for weeks at a time ... no problem. Batteries last a long, long time and it keeps time as well as any timepiece I have had.

Customer Buzz
I've had one of these for at least ten years, and it's still going strong. I think I've only changed the batteries 3 times, and I use it as my primary alarm clock almost every day. It has traveled with me to at least 3 continents and been through countless airports, train stations, bus stations, docks, suitcases, hotel rooms, and campgrounds, and still sits by my bed every night. The only problems I've had with it are when I've forgotten to set it. I'm tempted to buy another one only because I'm afraid they'll quit making it; I want to be able to replace it when it finally gets crushed or stepped on or lost in transit.

On a more objective level, it has a well laid out display, showing the time, date, day, temperature, and alarm/snooze indicators. The time can swith to 24-hour format, and the temperature can display either in F or C. The snooze button is big enough to hit with my eyes closed. The snooze button also turns on the greenish backlight for 5 seconds or so, letting me see what time it is in the dark. The base flips around and protects the buttons from getting pressed while it's in my bag, which is important as I usually just toss it in with my keys and flashlight and mp3 player and other things with hard pointy bits.

My only real complaint is that the snooze function only waits 5 minutes, I'd prefer about 10. Still, when you're travelling, who wants to sleep in all day? There are things to do! This is small enough to take anywhere no matter how I'm traveling. This is easily the best travel alarm clock I've ever had.

Casio Snooze Daily Alarm Travel Clock #PQ13-1KP

Customer Buzz
I've had this travel clock for almost 10 years. I like the display a lot. The display is not lit (in other words, you can't read it in the dark) unless you push the blue button in the upper right hand corner. It does not illuminate a dark room unless you want to check the time. The back light is just right in that it doesn't blind you when you check it in the dark. It takes a soft touch to activate the back light. Just brush it with a finger. The numerals are big enough to read without glasses, and the back light turns off automatically after a few seconds. It seems very durable, and mine has been bounced off the floor many, many times. The battery cover is not very secure, flying off with the battery when it hits the floor after a clumsy attenpt to check the time in the dark. This is a problem because the clock will then need to be reset (see below). I lost the batter cover after knocking the clock on the floor in a hotel. I would advise, should this happen to you, to serch until you find the cover. Tape will work to hold the battery in place without the cover, but you will miss the battery cover. In fact, if I had it to do over, I'd securely tape the battery cover in place.

Unfortunately, the set controils are extremely difficult to use due to tiny size. If you have less than perfect vision, you might not be able to see the time/alarm set markings without a magnifier.

I use this little clock by my bedside at home, and I take it eveywhere I go. It has taken a lot of abuse, but with the exception of the lost battery cover, this little clock seems as good as new. It uses one standard AA battery which I've only replaced once or twice in ten years. Even though it is painfully difficult to set and adjust, I have not found a better replacement. I'd buy another if this one were to be lost.

Customer Buzz
I like the clock and it works well, but the buttons to set the times and start the alarm are too small. The writing by those buttons is also too small.

Customer Buzz
I really like this alarm clock. Everyone in our household has one. It is light, easy to carry with you, and uses a regular battery.
